Arbosil 1081 310ml is a one-part acetoxy cure sealant that forms a silicone elastic rubber on exposure to moisture vapour.

What can it be used for?

Arbosil 1081 is the ideal sealant for damp environments, and those where water is present and needs to be prevented from leaking. Arbosil 1081 Black 310ml in black or white contains a fungicide that helps to prevent the growth of mould. This is ideal for use around baths, sinks, washbasins, shower doors and kitchen worktops, where moisture is often present and where mould is fairly common. Translucent Arbosil 1081 Black 310ml does not contain a fungicide, so it is ideal for use around aquariums and fishtanks. The fungicide present in the coloured versions of Arbosil 1081 Black 310ml is not suitable for use with fish tanks as it could cause problems with the fish and other marine life.
